no rose without a thorn / 2007

I am standing in front of the audience; i am looking into the eyes of each visitor; on the floor there are four white strings and one handkerchief; I pull off my clothes; i use the white strings to wrap my clothes around my head; with both hands I start to scratch my skin very roughly until it turns completely red; I stop scratching and i take the white handkerchief to wipe all over my body; I form a flower out of this handkerchief and offer it to the audience until one person takes it
